Casper Gyldensoe is a high-energy performer, guitarist, and vocalist who thrills audiences around the world. He is a musician without boundaries who can play any style as well as anybody. Casper Gyldensoe is a very experienced, highly professional musician. Since he was eleven years old he has been performing all over the world and in all styles of music. With his first group, Bydrengene, Casper Gyldensoe experienced his first major success. With the band he had numerous TV appearances. In 1991 he and the band flew to Moscow to perform in a charity event for the Chernobyl disaster. This was a highly publicized event that exposed Casper to millions of viewers and listeners around the world. In the following years Casper Gyldensoe toured Denmark and the rest of Europe several times. From 2001 to 2004 Casper studied at the world renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. There he received several awards and recognitions - among those the Harris Stanton Award and Guitar Department Achievement Award. Casper graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.M. in Performance. Casper has recorded ten CD’s - three as a leader and the rest as a sideman. He has performed at some of the major Festivals in the world; Roskilde Festival, Midtfyns Festival, Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Tri-C Jazz Festival, Back Bay Jazz Festival, and others. Also, he has played with many of the most dominant forces in the music world of today. His list includes Joe Lovano, George Garzone, Pat Metheny, Greg Hopkins, Ole Kock-Hansen, and Hal Crook. These days Casper is busy playing with Joey Scott and The Connection, recording his next CD, and performing with various small groups around the Northeastern U.S.
